Maximilian Krah was born on January 28, 1977, in Dresden, Germany. He is the youngest of three children born to Peter Krah, an engineer, and his wife, a special education teacher. The family lived in the Oberlausitz region of eastern Germany.

Education and Career

Krah studied law at the University of Leipzig, graduating in 2003. He then worked as a lawyer in Dresden and Berlin before entering politics in 2014.

Political Career

Krah joined the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in 2014 and was elected to the German Bundestag in 2017. In 2024, he was elected as the AfD's Spitzenkandidat (lead candidate) for the European Parliament elections.

Krah has been a controversial figure in German politics, known for his right-wing views and opposition to immigration and the European Union.
